Mistakes You Are Making With Your Sex Doll

Posted on May 29 2019

Rest assured that when you buy a sex doll from Silicon Wives, you will get the best the industry has to offer. Our dolls are durable, lifelike, and made by true artists. They are the Cadillac of sex dolls. However, just like a luxury car, they must be cared for diligently. They need care and maintenance. After all, your doll will bring you years of pleasure. Don’t they deserve the best?

Unfortunately, dolls can become damaged. This often happens due to misuse or lack of proper care. So, what exactly goes wrong? Here are some of the most common mistakes that we see people make.

Storing Dolls at Extreme Temperatures

We know that it’s difficult to find the right spot for you doll. Most people need to be at least a little bit discreet about these things. Your attic or cellar, even garage may be tempting places to keep your doll. Unfortunately, these places tend to get very hot, very cold, and very damp. Be careful.

Know the temperature of the room where your doll will be stored. Make sure it isn’t too damp, hot, or cold. If it is, choose another location. You can also help by installing a small, portable air conditioner, dehumidifier, portable heater, or vent fan. Just be sure to follow the safety precautions for any appliances that you use.

Using Oil Based Lubricants or Creams

Both silicone and TPE react very poorly with oils. They stain, damage the dolls ‘skin’, and can cause rancid odors. Use water based lubricants with your dolls when you have sex with them. If you use makeup, avoid oil based products. When in doubt, test any products on a small patch of the dolls skin in a hidden spot.

Abuse of Joints

We get it. Some of you like to go a bit buck wild with your dolls. We’re totally cool with that. Enjoy your dolls as much as you want, and try out your wildest fantasies. Just keep one thing in mind. Your doll was designed to feel and move the way a real person does. When you move or twist your dolls arms, legs, torso, or head too roughly, things could break or dislocate. The same thing goes for applying too much weight or hitting your doll with extreme intensity.

Failure to Clean The Doll Properly

If you don’t clean your doll regularly, especially after use, there’s going to be problems. It can quickly become a veritable petri dish of bacteria and microorganisms. Fortunately, keeping your doll clean is easier than you think. We’ve even created a handy guide for you to follow.

Ignoring Small Issues

Maybe you’ve notice a small crack in your doll’s skin, or a hip joint just doesn’t feel quite right. You may have even caused a bit of unintentional damage from a spill or some careless smoking. That’s okay! Things happen. The good news is that we have people on staff who can repair your doll. If something goes wrong, let us know. There’s a good chance that we can fix your doll, or send you a replacement part.

Final Thoughts

Now the good news. It doesn’t take extraordinary measures to to ensure that your sex doll lasts for years. It simply takes some basic maintenance, and a bit of know how. As long as you avoid the mistakes listed above, your silicone lover should bring you pleasure for many years to come.

Many of my fantasies (i.e. the reason I’m considering getting a doll) involve food play, but I’ve notice every brand of non-dairy whipped topping has some kind of vegetable oil in it, and of course real whipped cream has milkfat in it. What’s the worst that would happen if I were to get these substances on my (probably TPE) doll? If I wash them off right away will it be a problem? I don’t want to use shaving cream for various reasons, among them I would guess the alcohol might be more damaging to the doll’s skin than any oil might be. Any help/insight into this is appreciated.
